1. Who this covers
Website visitors, prospective customers, account holders, organisation users, tenants, contractors and people contacting support.
2. Two roles
Letzo! as controller: data we collect for our own purposes — accounts, billing, website use, marketing and support.
Letzo! as processor: data customers manage in the platform — tenants, tenancies, contractors, documents. The customer organisation is the controller for that data and its own privacy notice applies.
3. Data we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, role); organisation and billing details; usage and device information; support communications; and, where connected, Open Banking account and transaction data.
4. Purposes and lawful bases
Providing the service (contract); security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests); billing and legal records (legal obligation); product communications (legitimate interests or consent, with opt-out).
7. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations are used.
8. Retention
Account data is kept for the life of the account and a limited period afterwards; billing records for statutory periods. Customer platform data is deleted or returned at the end of the contract as set out in the Data Processing Terms.
9. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. For data held by a landlord or managing organisation, contact that organisation first; we will assist them.
10. Security

11. Complaints
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve concerns first.
